Frantic to escape, she squirms within her bonds, but they are too strong and her body has been weakened by her torments. She is helpless to do more than suffer as the deadly instrument approaches. Her last hellish moments are finally ended, as the pendulum slashes into her gut, killing her.

Penny watches in triumph, but it is short lived. She is attacked by surprise and finds herself on the rack, as well, Stella’s blood still sticky underneath her. She is forced to experience the same terror, the same agony and, ultimately, the same fate as Stella. Both learned a hard lesson about karma, each playing the role of tormentor and victim, each dying in the same way.
